Here’s what to expect:

  • Ensure student records and student information is compliant with all applicable school, district, state, and federal policies for state audits. 
  • Maintain accurate permanent student records and test scores. 
  • Comply with record requests accurately in a timely manner. 
  • Collaborate with other schools and/or outside agencies regarding student records. 
  • Answer inbound calls regarding student enrollment status and records requests. 
  • Occasionally assist with front desk coverage. 
  • Collaborate interdepartmentally to facilitate a positive, professional enrollment experience. This includes providing requested information or directing the prospective student to appropriate department when necessary. 
  • Responds to written requests from appropriate agencies and persons regarding student information and records. 
  • Supports assigned administrative personnel for the purpose of providing assistance with their administrative functions. 
  • Collaborate with appropriate to ensure accuracy and adherence to laws regarding admissions, registration, withdrawal, guardianship, and transfers. 
  • Evaluate routine transcripts for new students to determine appropriate and equivalent awarding of credits and grade placement. 
  • Prepare and maintain permanent records and cumulative folders, transcript files and demographic information on enrolled and incoming students. 
  • Demonstrate excellent skills, including at least 50 words per minute at the keyboard with a minimum of errors, general bookkeeping skills, organizational and filing skills, and the ability to use electronic equipment for word processing, data management, information retrieval, visual presentations, and telecommunications. 
  • Other duties as assigned

The Successful Candidate possesses:

  • An exceptional level of attention to detail High level of organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively work under time pressures while maintaining a rigorous attention to detail, composure, professionalism, and a positive attitude.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Two+ years’ experience in an administrative office position.
  • Educational environments highly preferred.
  • Successful completion of a fingerprint background check.
