Commercial Project Manager
Job Description
This Commercial Project Manager is primarily sales and business development with metal products Some residential, mostly commercial / weathertight warranty estimates / bids new customer development and customer engagement. Brief overview of the typical proposal process / sales portion:
Receive plans
Submit to RoofWrx for cutlist
Review specs / metal roof details to determine metal type, substrate, install details, etc. Work with Pac Clad team as needed to assist with assembly letters, install details, etc.
Many jobs require shop drawings and engineering. Work with customer & Pac Clad as needed to expedite. As of late June, ’25 Pac Clad will have a dedicated administrator to coordinate between client and Pac Clad engineering team.
Build estimates, include submittals package
Put out to team for brief details / price review & approval
Get to client as quick turnaround as possible
Fast customer responsiveness and quick quote / estimate turnaround critical to gaining / sustaining market share
Could expand into other product categories as needed
Administrative - for all metal shop orders regardless of salesperson:
Process confirmed orders in Agility
Manage job calendar – add / delete as needed. When POs for specials are issued to vendor add anticipated / tentative production date to calendar
Prep shop workorders, panel / flashing details, etc. & submit with Agility tag
Purchases - both metal shop inventory and all specials related to metal shop activities:
Usage review weekly / as needed
Issue Agility POs
Backup for POs of all kinds when / as needed
Phone / customer service support as needed
Take as much metal sales administrative burden off of Brandi as possible
Possible expansion areas: commercial gutters, Z / C galv purlin, etc.
The base salary for this position typically falls within the range of $76,000.00 to $98,800.00 Annually. SRS/Heritage considers multiple factors including job related knowledge, skillset and experience when determining the final salary.
