Job Description: ServiceNow Developer - Part time
Location: Remote
Responsibilities
Develop and customize ServiceNow applications and modules (e.g., ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, HRSC, IRM, CSM) to align with business requirements.
Design, code, and implement ServiceNow solutions using scripting languages (e.g., JavaScript, Glide), workflows, and UI customizations.
Build and maintain integrations between ServiceNow and external systems using APIs, web services, iPaaS (e.g., MuleSoft), MID servers, and ETL tools.
Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather and translate requirements into technical solutions within the ServiceNow platform.
Participate in system upgrades, testing, and deployment activities, ensuring solutions are scalable, secure, and maintainable.
Provide technical support, troubleshoot issues, and work with ServiceNow support teams to resolve complex development-related challenges.
Create and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, development standards, and integration guides.
Stay current with ServiceNow platform updates, new features, and industry best practices to enhance development processes.
Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a ServiceNow Developer, with expertise in developing and customizing ServiceNow modules (e.g., ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, HRSC, IRM, CSM).
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) certification required; additional certifications such as CIS (Certified Implementation Specialist) in one or more modules preferred.
Strong proficiency in ServiceNow development tools, including scripting (JavaScript, Glide), ServiceNow APIs, Flow Designer, and UI Builder.
Experience with ServiceNow integrations using REST, SOAP, MID servers, and third-party tools like MuleSoft or other iPaaS platforms.
Solid understanding of ServiceNow platform architecture, data models, and module interconnectivity.
Familiarity with ITIL processes and Agile development methodologies.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
