About Cashea

Cashea is a Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL) fintech company focused on providing credit access to Venezuelan people, democratizing financial inclusion through technology. We work in cross-functional squads, each with dedicated technical leads for frontend and backend development.

About the role:

As QA Lead you will define and execute the QA strategy across web, mobile (Flutter), and backend systems. Key responsibilities include leading test planning, guiding QA Analysts in test case design and defect reporting, and ensuring rigorous standards in test documentation and traceability. You will own the defect lifecycle, drive root cause analysis, and collaborate cross-functionally to prevent defects early. Continuous improvement of QA workflows, tooling, and documentation is expected, along with fostering a culture of quality, knowledge sharing, and proactive issue detection.

Overall You Will...

  • Define and execute the QA strategy across web, mobile (Flutter), and backend systems

  • Lead test planning efforts, aligning coverage with product scope and risk

  • Guide QA Analysts in test case design, exploratory testing, and defect reporting

  • Ensure rigorous standards in test documentation, traceability, and quality metrics

  • Own the defect lifecycle from triage to resolution, driving root cause analysis for major issues

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with PMs, engineers, and designers to prevent defects early

  • Continuously refine and improve QA workflows, tooling, and documentation standards

  • Promote a culture of quality, knowledge sharing, and proactive issue detection

Qualifications:

  • You are a Senior QA expert with 4+ years of experience, including 1+ years in leadership roles

  • Experienced in testing mobile apps (especially Flutter) and web platforms

  • Skilled in manual testing strategies and tools

  • Proficient in Jira, Xray/TestRail/qTest, and agile test management practices

  • Strong in defect reporting, bug triage, and coaching others on root cause investigation

  • Comfortable writing SQL queries and testing APIs with Postman or Swagger

  • Bilingual in Spanish and English
