We are looking for a Client Development Director in the UK
As Sedgwick continues to expand and evolve, we’re seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to join our growing Client Relationship Management (CRM) team. This is a unique opportunity to lead and develop key account relationships, supporting our mission to grow the extent of services we deliver to our client base while strengthening long-standing partnerships.
About the Role:
As a Client Relationship Director, you’ll represent some of our most valued and specialist insurer clients—acting as their advocate within Sedgwick. You’ll ensure we deliver on our commitments and lead strategic conversations that unlock mutual value. With a strong understanding of claims services across Property, Liability, and Motor, you’ll already be a respected figure in the insurer claims environment.
While your primary focus will be on composite insurers, you’ll also have the opportunity to work with a broader team that work across Lloyd’s and London markets, MGAs and brokers, public sector, and corporate clients.
This is a senior, cross-functional role with national reach, requiring regular travel to client offices, Sedgwick regional hubs, and our London headquarters.
You will have/will be:
Experienced:
- In managing key accounts and developing strategic client relationships
- Cross selling services to existing partners
- With a strong presence in the insurance claims sector
- Confident navigating complex insurer environments and engaging with senior stakeholders
A natural collaborator:
- Able to work across internal teams including marketing, operational practice leaders, and technical specialists
- Comfortable influencing and aligning with senior internal and external stakeholders
Commercially driven:
- Focused on client retention and new business growth
- Skilled in identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities
- Motivated by delivering creative, value-driven solutions
Key Responsibilities:
- Deepen and expand relationships with senior decision-makers in key accounts
- Promote and cross-sell Sedgwick’s full suite of claims management services
- Drive market share growth within strategic accounts
- Represent Sedgwick through thought leadership, tenders, presentations, and industry events
- Identify innovative ways to help clients deliver faster, safer, and more effective claims strategies
