Opportunity:
We are seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Pediatrician to join our growing practice in Hartford, CT. This position offers flexibility with both full-time and part-time options available, operating during standard Monday to Friday day hours. The ideal candidate will be passionate about pediatric care, dedicated to patient well-being, and eager to contribute to a dynamic team.
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive primary care services to pediatric patients from infancy through adolescence.
- Conduct well-child exams, immunizations, and developmental screenings.
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic pediatric illnesses and conditions.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests.
- Prescribe and manage medications.
- Offer health education and counseling to parents and guardians on various pediatric health topics.
- Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team including nurses, medical assistants, and administrative staff.
- Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records.
- Participate in on-call rotation as determined by practice needs (if applicable).

Qualifications:
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited medical school.
- Completion of an accredited Pediatric Residency Program.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics.
- Current, unrestricted Connecticut medical license or eligibility to obtain.
- Strong clinical, diagnostic, and communication skills.
- Ability to build rapport with children and their families.
- Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
