Rental Events Manager

Description
- Manage and process all rental event inquiries in close collaboration with the Associate Dean of Artistic Operations and the Director of Donor Engagement and Special Events
- Manage the contracting process from the initial inquiry, to preparation, negotiation, and execution
- Collaborate with the relevant SFCM departments to ensure seamless communication, alignment with organizational objectives, and smooth event operations
- Manage event rentals budgets and meet revenue goals, in collaboration with the Associate Dean of Artistic Operations and the Director of Donor Engagement and Special Events
- Lead site tours for prospective clients and vendors
- Organize and lead production meetings between SFCM, clients and external vendors
- Serve as the main point-of-contact for clients and external vendors to ensure compliance with organizational guidelines and policies
- Liaise with the SFCM Finance department to ensure timely delivery of final event invoices and payment collection
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher; or three years of relevant work experience required
- Proven ability to prospect, make sales calls, negotiate, and close deals
- Knowledge of event operations, including timelines, staffing, and floor plans
- Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to work independently
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines
- Professional and personable demeanor via phone, video, and email, with the ability to build rapport at all levels
- Collaborative team player, able to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Ability to move equipment and materials for events
- Flexible availability, including nights and weekends as needed
