Join the Eligibility & Enrollment (E&E) team in the Division of Developmental Disabilities as a Scheduler, where you'll play a key role in supporting Nebraska families by coordinating waiver assessments that help individuals access the care and services they need to thrive.

Job Duties:
As a Scheduler, you will:
- Review waiver applications and referrals to determine scheduling needs.
- Screen applications for completeness and required documentation.
- Contact individuals and their representatives to coordinate assessment appointments.
- Schedule assessments for Waiver Services Specialists (WSS) based on location, availability, and individual needs.
- Monitor and respond to cancellations, no-shows, and reschedule requests.
- Use a variety of tools including Outlook, NFOCUS, SharePoint, Excel, and the Scheduler Dashboard.
- Maintain clear, professional communication and accurate documentation in all systems.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure efficient and compassionate service delivery.
- Follow procedures to respect privacy and consent guidelines.
Requirements / Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications: Coursework/training in administrative/office support functions, procedures, and methods including the operation of personal computers and office equipment; or areas related to the programs and functions of the employing agency. OR Experience in customer service or public contact; or applying criteria/regulations; and/or performing administrative/office/secretarial support work including use of personal computers and office equipment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in scheduling, case coordination, or working within a healthcare or human services setting.
- Proficiency with Outlook, Excel, SharePoint, and other data tracking systems.
- Understanding of Medicaid or Home and Community-Based Services (HCBS) processes.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Familiarity with state systems such as NFOCUS is a plus.

- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
