About the Role
LexisNexis is hiring a high-impact Sales Director to lead a team responsible for driving growth across our document management and drafting solutions. This team includes both Account Executives and implementation specialists, with a shared focus on delivering an exceptional end-to-end client experience—from sales through onboarding and long-term success. This leader will shape regional strategy, build high-performing teams, and align cross-functional partners around shared goals. Fluency in legal technology, technical integrations, and sales enablement is essential.
Responsibilities
- Leading and coaching a team of consultative sellers and implementation/onboarding specialists to exceed revenue targets and deliver client value
- Attracting, recruiting, and retaining top sales talent to build and scale a high-performance team
- Translating company vision and go-to-market strategy into clear direction and execution for the sales team
- Navigating complex legal tech environments, including DMS integrations, APIs, and document workflow automation
- Collaborating cross-functionally with product, marketing, and GTM strategy/operations to align on strategic priorities and drive business outcomes
- Presenting to executive stakeholders with clarity and precision, both internally and externally
Requirements
- Have proven success as a quota-bearing seller or sales leader. Will also consider candidates who have led teams in go-to-market strategy, go-to-market operations, general management, customer success, or similar roles.
- Have experience in B2B SaaS and/or legal technology, with confidence in technical discussions involving APIs, document management systems, and workflow solutions
- Be able to confidently engage in AI-related discussions with clients and actively leverage AI tools to drive sales effectiveness
- Have proficiency in modern sales tools and dashboards (e.g., Salesforce, Gong, Outreach, Seismic, forecasting modules, Tableau)
- Possess hands-on experience with structured sales methodologies such as MEDDPICC, value selling, and mutual close plans to manage complex deal cycles
- Be willing and able to travel based on customer and business needs
