We are looking for a driven and organized Account Manager to join our growing Team Sales Group, under the direction of the Director of Team Sales. In this role, you’ll manage inbound leads from hockey organizations while also building new relationships through outbound outreach. You’ll be part of a close-knit team focused on outfitting youth hockey players, high school programs, and adult leagues across the country with the best gear and apparel in the game.
Responsibilities include:
- Manage incoming leads and guide customers through the sales process from inquiry to order
- Utilize industry knowledge to research and develop accounts; identify key players and generate interest
- Demonstrate a strong work ethic, high level of integrity, self-motivation and ability to maintain a trustworthy and credible presence with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Develop new clients while maintaining and expanding relationships with existing clients and following up with key decision-makers Facilitate team fittings for gear and apparel
- Develop and maintain outstanding working relationships with clients to ensure client satisfaction
- Coordinate with internal teams on product availability, order timelines, and custom gear details
- Uphold company standards for merchandise presentation of the best apparel and equipment brands in sporting goods
- Track and manage orders, outreach, and account activity using Excel and internal systems
- Work well in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a high sense of urgency
Requirements
- 7-10 years previous experience in sales or account management experience
- Proven ability to meet and exceed goals and quotas
- Critical thinking and strong decision-making abilities
- Highly motivated to grow skill set and increase overall knowledge
- Excellent communication both written and verbal
- Self-starter with the desire to grow and succeed in a performance-based role
- Strong working knowledge of Excel
- Recent experience and excellent knowledge of the hockey industry is a plus
