JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS
The Black School of Business at Penn State Behrend is seeking qualified applicants for adjunct faculty positions across a variety of disciplines for the 2025–2026 academic year. We invite applications from individuals with expertise in the following areas:
- Accounting
- Economics
- Finance
- Functional Data Analytics
- Interdisciplinary Business with Engineering Studies
- Interdisciplinary Science and Business
- International Business
- Management Information Systems
- Marketing
- Project and Supply Chain Management
Position Responsibilities:
Adjunct faculty will be responsible for:
- Delivering high-quality instruction in assigned courses
- Creating and utilizing syllabi and course materials approved by the School
- Fostering an inclusive, engaging, and supportive learning environment
- Providing timely feedback and academic support to students
- Collaborating with faculty and adhering to departmental standards
Qualifications:
- A master’s degree in the relevant discipline or a closely related field is required.
- Prior teaching experience is preferred but not required.
Appointment Details:
- These are semester-by-semester, non-tenure-track academic appointments.
- Positions are offered without benefits and do not guarantee renewal.
