Our PK1Cloud Consulting team provides implementational support, design and development on core insurance applications (policy, billing and claims). We are currently looking to add an experienced Project Manager to our team who will work in a hybrid capacity (3 days in-office) from our Charlotte, NC office.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Project Planning and Management: Define project scope, goals, and deliverables. Develop comprehensive project plans, set clear timelines, and manage resources effectively.
  • Budget and Account Management: Monitor account-level financials and project budgets. Maintain scope integrity while translating outcomes into client value. Anticipate client needs and identify cross-sell or up-sell opportunities.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Regularly communicating with stakeholders, including clients, team members, and executives.
  • Team Coordination: Lead and motivate cross-functional teams—including statistical analysts and developers—to ensure alignment and timely delivery of project milestones.
  • Agile and Scrum Implementation: Organize and facilitate sprint planning sessions to define priorities and set deliverables for each cycle.
  • Daily Stand-ups: Conducting daily stand-up meetings to track progress, identify blockers, and ensure team alignment.
  • Sprint Reviews and Retrospectives: Leading sprint review meetings to showcase completed work and gather feedback, and conducting retrospectives to discuss what went well and what can be improved.
  • Risk Management: Identifying potential risks and developing mitigation strategies to address them proactively.
  • Project Completion: Planning and executing on time delivery of project completion.
  • Continuous Improvement: Evaluate project performance, capture lessons learned, and contribute to refining internal processes for ongoing improvement.


What You'll Bring to the Table
  • Project Management Expertise: Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools. Familiarity with Jira is a plus.
  • Technical Knowledge: Experience in Agile and Scrum frameworks. Exposure to insurance, IT operations, or data-driven and compliance-focused environments is highly desirable.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills. Able to build rapport with diverse stakeholders and confidently lead discussions.
  • Leadership and Team Management: Ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams, manage conflicts, and foster a collaborative environment.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Aptitude for identifying issues, analyzing problems, and developing effective solutions.
  • Time Management: Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks, prioritize work, and meet deadlines.
  • Risk Management: Strong capability to identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  • Budget Management: Experience in managing project budgets and ensuring financial resources are used efficiently.
  • Customer Focus: Understanding of customer needs and the ability to gather and incorporate user feedback.
  • Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements and environments.
  • Continuous Improvement: Commitment to learning and improving project management practices.
