JOB DESCRIPTION | SENIOR DIGITAL MEDIA SPECIALIST
At Orchard, a Senior Digital Media Specialist plays a key role in shaping and executing integrated digital strategies that drive meaningful results for our clients. This role spans across paid search, display, social, email, and other performance channels, requiring a well-rounded understanding of the digital ecosystem and how all touchpoints work together to support the customer journey .Senior Specialists collaborate closely with media and account teams to plan, launch, and manage cross-channel campaigns that blend data, creativity, and performance insight. Success in this role requires fluency in a range of digital tactics - from audience targeting and optimization to segmentation and automation - paired with a commitment to continuous learning and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Campaign Strategy: Collaborate with internal teams and clients to understand business objectives and help develop integrated digital strategies across paid search, social, programmatic, video, and email to achieve client goals.
- Campaign Setup and Activation: Support the media team in launching campaigns across digital channels, while occasionally assisting with the coordination of CRM/email deployments to ensure alignment across platforms.
- Ongoing Campaign Management and Optimization: Actively manage and optimize campaigns across Google Ads, Meta, programmatic, and additional channels; analyze performance data and make strategic adjustments to improve ROI and engagement across all touchpoints.
- Data Analysis and Insights Utilization: Leverage performance data, including website, media, and email metrics, to identify high-performing audience segments and campaign opportunities. Collaborate with cross-department specialists to bring those insights into nurture and retargeting strategies.
- Keyword Research and Copywriting: Contribute to ad copy and email subject line brainstorming, as well as keyword research, optimizing messaging across media and email campaigns for higher engagement and conversion.
- Email Marketing Support: While not the core function, support light tasks related to CRM/email planning, such as reviewing email performance reports, assisting with segmentation strategies, or reviewing campaign flows for continuity with paid media initiatives.Keyword Research and Copywriting: Assist in copywriting tasks and keyword research, in relation to paid search, optimizing campaign content for maximum effectiveness and audience engagement.
- Support for Channel SMEs: Work with Orchard’s subject matter experts across media, email, web, CRM, and analytics to build integrated marketing solutions.
- Campaign Organization: Maintain up-to-date trackers for media and CRM/email campaigns, supporting visibility, alignment, and cross-team accountability.
- Stay Informed on Industry Updates and Trends: Proactively monitor and stay up to date with developments and trends across all paid media platforms, incorporating relevant insights into campaign strategies and recommendations.
- Agency Best Practices and Process: Support the creation and definition of process documentation and platform POVs to support internal growth and client education.
REQUIREMENTS
- 3-4 years of experience in paid media execution, hands-on Google Ads experience required. Experience with Meta, Email, Programmatic platforms preferred.
- Intermediate knowledge of the digital marketing ecosystem and multi-channel digital marketing strategy. Understanding of the full digital marketing funnel, digital ecosystem, and how paid and owned media can work together to improve performance.
- Interest in continuous learning about digital strategy, channels, and emerging trends within the industry.
- Analytical and insights-driven mindset; comfort interpreting performance metrics.
- Solid organizational skills and attention to detail in managing multiple campaigns and platforms.
- Proficiency in MS Office or Google Workspace.
- Previous experience or coursework in digital marketing, advertising, or related fields is preferred.
- Interest in agency setting; agency experience is a plus.
