About the Role:
The Marketplace Associate Manager plays a critical role in optimizing and growing Tru Niagen’s presence across global e-commerce platforms, including Amazon, Walmart, and other key marketplaces. This role combines operational execution with strategic support, offering increased ownership of daily marketplace functions, campaign execution, and performance analysis.
Operating with a global scope, the Associate Manager leads cross-regional campaign execution, supports advertising strategy, and drives marketplace sales optimization. By bridging the gap between tactical execution and strategic planning, this role contributes directly to business growth through advertising leadership, promotional coordination, and global marketplace operations.
Core Expectations:
International Sales & Performance Optimization
• Plan and execute end-to-end marketplace sales strategies including pricing, promotions, advertising initiatives and coordinate major global events (Prime Day, Black Friday, Singles’ Day) to drive revenue growth
• Analyze performance metrics (sales, conversion rates, customer engagement) and conduct competitive pricing and positioning analyses to uncover optimization opportunities and inform strategic decisions
Advertising & Creative Support
• Oversee the full-funnel advertising strategy with our agency, leading creative planning and briefing across global markets and coordinating with internal and external teams to deliver campaign assets on schedule
• Monitor and analyze ad performance to optimize spend and ROI, ensuring all advertising initiatives are aligned with sales objectives and key promotional timelines
Inventory & Supply Chain Coordination
• Collaborate with supply chain and fulfillment teams to maintain optimal inventory levels across platforms anticipating and mitigating risks of stockouts, overstocking, and fulfillment delays
• Support demand planning efforts by analyzing sales trends and promotional impacts to deliver accurate forecasts and align inventory strategy with marketplace activities
Content & Brand Optimization
• Lead the optimization of product listings for SEO and conversion, driving best practices and overseeing the creation of A+ content, videos, and enhanced brand assets in partnership with creative teams
• Ensure every listing consistently reflects brand guidelines and meets all regulatory requirements, maintaining compliance and quality across all marketplaces
Compliance & Risk Management
• Track evolving marketplace policies and regulatory requirements partnering with legal teams to ensure all activities and listings remain fully compliant
• Proactively identify and remove counterfeit and unauthorized listings safeguarding brand integrity and protecting customers
Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Act as the primary cross-functional liaison coordinating between marketplace teams, marketing, supply chain, finance, legal, and external B2B partners to optimize global marketplace performance
• Deliver actionable insights and comprehensive performance reports to senior leadership, enabling data driven decisions and continuous improvement
Qualifications and Success Factors:
• Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, E-commerce, or a related field
• 2-4 years of experience in e-commerce, digital marketing, or marketplace operations (Amazon International Seller Central, Walmart Marketplace, Target+ preferred)
• Strong analytical and reporting skills with a focus on marketplace KPIs
• Hands-on experience with SEO, digital advertising, and listing optimization
• Ability to lead projects and campaigns while coordinating across departments
• Experience working with advertising agencies and creative teams
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Google Analytics, and e-commerce tools like Helium 10 or Jungle Scout
