UI/UX Engineer
Job Description
Netic builds autonomous AI that books appointments, generates demand, and drives measurable revenue for the $100B+ essential service industries that keep America running. While most AI companies chase novelty, we're solving complex real-world problems for services businesses.
Backed by Founders Fund and Greylock, we've built technology that has autonomously booked tens of thousands of service appointments and generated millions in incremental revenue in just our first year. You'll join us in bringing frontier AI to the physical economy, where the problems are hard, the data is complex, and the impact is immediate and tangible.
What you’ll do
Own the front end: Architect, build, and iterate on our dashboards and config UIs that let customers steer and trust our AI-powered revenue engine.
Ship polished interactions: Translate Figma mocks into pixel‑perfect, responsive components with smooth animations and zero layout shift.
Optimize for speed: Drive Core Web Vitals into the green—code‑split, lazy‑load, and instrument perf budgets in CI.
Bridge design ↔ data: Wire REST/GraphQL endpoints and real‑time event streams into predictable, secure state layers.
Guard quality & access: Enforce a11y standards, run usability tests, and work with design to evolve our UX system so every release feels cohesive.
What you’ll bring
Modern JS mastery: 3+ yrs React/Vue/Angular, expert‑level HTML/CSS, and a track record of shippable, cross‑browser apps.
TypeScript & state chops: Comfort with TS, Redux/Zustand (or similar), hooks, and module federation patterns.
Performance obsession: Demonstrated wins shrinking bundle size, improving TTI, and taming memory leaks in production.
Testing discipline: Hands‑on with Jest, Cypress/Playwright, Storybook, and automated visual diffing in CI/CD.
Collaborative DNA: Thrive in Figma‑to‑code loops, Git workflows, and rapid iteration with PMs, designers, and backend peers.
We believe fulfillment comes from producing your best work with the smartest people together in one room. All roles are in person, in SF (our office is across from Fort Mason). What brings us together is our commitment to:
Live to build
Run through walls and win
Obsess over customers in each line of code
Lose sleep over the "almost perfect"
Show internal locus of control
Prioritize finesse: refinement of first principles thinking, execution, and craftsmanship
