Comcast NBCUniversal has announced its intent to create a new publicly traded company ('Versant') comprised of most of NBCUniversal's cable television networks, including USA Network, CNBC, MSNBC, Oxygen, E!, SYFY and Golf Channel along with complementary digital assets Fandango, Rotten Tomatoes, GolfNow, GolfPass, and SportsEngine. The well-capitalized company will have significant scale as a pure-play set of assets anchored by leading news, sports and entertainment content. The spin-off is expected to be completed during 2025.

Job Description

As the Ad Sales marketing team, our team is aligned to drive revenue as consultative partners to Sales and Clients through deep knowledge of our partners’ business, the assets across NBCU, and the power to unlock the most strategic, innovative, and lucrative marketing recommendations.

Our team is aligned to NBCU’s Growth strategy, focused on securing NBCU’s next 1,000 clients, primarily from brands built on search, social and CTV. We also support the Sales teams that service primarily independent agencies. A digital/streaming first mindset is crucial for this role.

Reporting to the Sr. Manager, Marketing – Creative Partnerships, as the Coordinator, Marketing – Creative Partnerships you will support the team that manages and supports Ad Sales marketing accounts from end-to-end. This role will help coordinate the curation of sales marketing materials & proposals, identify creative solutions and general account management. 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Cultivate relationships and facilitate efficient, transparent communication with internal partners: sales, creative and development teams, design, research and legal
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to internal stakeholders and external advertising clients by continually communicating updates on behalf of the larger team 
  • Understand departmental structure and its efforts, while supporting the organization’s capabilities, content and talent
  • Attend meetings with marketing team, summarizing key notes and next steps to internal working teams and external partners
  • Lead project management updates for the team on Monday.com, and other systems as needed 
  • Manage marketing status documents, trackers and support with other administrative needs
  • Own and manage scheduling internal, and at times external, meeting invitations with relevant constituents which may vary depending on the project/pitch/campaign being discussed
  • Responsible for saving all sales and campaign assets into internal folder system for the respective accounts they pertain to
  • Assist in development of marketing materials or presentations as directed by manager which may vary depending on the pitch, campaign or account
  • Monitor competitive activity for key accounts on an ongoing basis with more extensive competitive recaps executed as requested by manager
  • Assist in tracking the execution of marketing campaigns in collaboration with creative and development teams
  • Initiate partnership recaps decks upon completion of marketing campaigns

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Minimum 1-2+ years of professional experience at an advertising, branded content, media agency, media company or sales organization OR Senior Level executive support
  • Skilled in PowerPoint and other MS Office programs such as Outlook, Word, Excel and ideally Sharepoint
  • Experience with Salesforce, Monday.com is a plus

  • Basic knowledge and understanding of media marketing, the sales process and creative development with interest in pursuing career in relevant field
  • Experience in presentation design is ideal
  • Highly curious and innovative with positive energy
  • Familiarity and/or willingness to learn both Quantitative and Qualitative research tools –
  • Excellent oral, written, presentation and budget management skills
  • Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office, other design and presentation platforms, etc.

Additional Requirements:

  • Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.

Salary range: $55,000 - $58,000
