UX Engineer – Microsoft Discovery

As a UX Engineer in the Microsoft Discovery team you will play an integral role in defining and executing a new vision for AI-driven science platform development. You will help shape the development of experiences that aim to break new ground in how we interact with agentic AI. We want you to represent the best of what a “10x Designer” can be. As an UX Engineer, you will develop front end designs, specs and user interface systems  and partner with engineers to build out fully functioning features. You will generate ideation solutions, identify user needs and defines product designs. You will develop prototypes to meet specific needs, solve challenges and get user feedback. This opportunity will allow you to work with designers to iterate designs during implementation and oversee versioning of tools, including listening to customer needs, driving accessibility and connecting Design and Engineering with tools/platforms. You will liaise between Design and Engineering to deliver product requirements and drive consistency with existing codebases and design systems.
