Temp Coordinator, Competition (Leagues Cup)
Job Description
Overview
This position will assist in managing various aspects of the Leagues Cup competition. Responsibilities include maintaining relationships with clubs' technical departments, managing club travel, coordinating match-day officiating and staffing (Match Commissioners, medical, operations), ensuring compliance with competition rules, format, and guidelines. The individual must demonstrate effective time management, organizational skills, and problem-solving abilities.
Responsibilities
Primary Responsibilities
- Support all facets of Leagues Cup’s Competition function, including competition rules, format, and guidelines.
- Gather and aggregate match related information from various internal and external stakeholders for the purposes of disseminating weekly disciplinary summary and match notices.
- Assist the team with referee administration – including any match and travel logistics and reporting.
- Track and report on disciplinary point accumulation per Club.
- Assist in tracking and producing reports on officiating quality and standards.
- Assist in producing materials for presentations to various committees, Clubs and league personnel.
- Liaise with Clubs and internal stakeholders to coordinate various meetings, conference calls, and other periodic engagements.
- Provide supportive material to various Leagues Cup Department personnel when required.

Qualifications
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 1+ years of experience
Required Skills
- Knowledge of the sport of soccer
- Superior organization, project management skills and attention to detail
- Commitment to quality work product and organizational ethics, integrity and compliance
- Ability to work effectively in a fast paced, team environment
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate, both written and verbally
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Product Suites and Adobe Creative Suite
- Demonstrated decision making and problem-solving skills
- Detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines with minimal supervision
Desired Skills
- Knowledge of the Spanish Language (business proficiency)
- Ability to work non-traditional hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Total Rewards
Starting compensation $18.00 - $20.00/hour. MLS/SUM compensation is contingent upon several factors including individual qualifications, market financials, and operational business needs.
