Job Description

LightEdge is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Salesforce Developer to join our team and help us enhance and customize our Salesforce environment. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building scalable Salesforce solutions while also supporting day-to-day platform operations. You will focus on development (custom code, automation, integrations), as well as administrative and platform support tasks. Responsibilities:
  • Work with our business and IT teams to identify and understand business requirements and translate them into technical designs and solutions within Salesforce.
  • Develop and maintain custom Lightning components, Apex code, and integrations with other systems.
  • Willingness to take on Salesforce Admin tasks including but not limited to Flow, custom objects, validation rules, other declarative tools and provide support for installed managed packages.
  • Assist our software development and business teams with integrations between external systems and Salesforce.
  • Collaborate with key business teams to manage and maintain the Salesforce environment, including user management, data management, and system configurations.
  • Participate in code reviews and ensure that code is developed according to best practices and standards, as well as testing new functionality in staging environments.
  • Implement DevOps workflows using Gearset, including version control, continuous integration, deployment automation, and rollback planning.
  • Provide support to end-users, resolve complex Salesforce related issues and ensure positive user experience.  This includes troubleshooting reported defects, identifying root causes, and implementing effective solutions.
  • A willingness to learn and adapt to new Salesforce tooling and technologies, including 
  • potential reskilling in areas such as CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) or RCA (Revenue Cloud Advanced).
  • Research and evaluate new Salesforce features and proactively identify opportunities to improve Salesforce processes and efficiency.


Experience:
  • 3+ years of experience as a Salesforce Developer.
  • Strong proficiency in Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), SOQL and integration technologies (e.g., REST, SOAP, APIs).
  • Solid understanding of Salesforce data model, security model, and development best practices.
  • Working knowledge of Gearset or similar DevOps tools for Salesforce.
  • Experience with CPQ a plus
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Certifications (e.g., Salesforce Platform Developer I/II, Administrator, or CPQ Specialist) are a plus but not required.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or related field preferred.
