Role Summary

Kings River Packing is looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Supply Planning Analyst to support our Supply and Planning operations. This role will assist the Supply Planning Manager in developing short-term supply plans, tracking purchase orders, and identifying immediate needs based on current and upcoming availability.  The ideal candidate will have strong ERP system skills and the ability to work cross functionally, and ability to solve day-to-day planning challenges. 


Responsibilities

· Develop and maintain short and long term supply plans based on forecasts, historical trends, and near-term production capacity.

· Proactively respond to short production weeks, supply disruptions, and urgent shifts in demand.

· Track and manage purchase orders throughout their lifecycle, from creation to shipment, delivery, and invoice reconciliation in Famous ERP.

· Analyze and interpret buying trends, variety movement, and SKU performance to help optimize supply decisions.

· Collaborate with Sales, Demand Planning, and Allocation teams to ensure fulfillment strategies are aligned with customer commitments and business priorities.

· Manage allocation support and fulfillment planning for SKUs, making real-time adjustments based on availability and packhouse input.

· Lead vendor coordination efforts, including vendor selection, PO issuance, contract negotiation support, and issue resolution.

· Prepare reporting and dashboards in Power BI and Excel to communicate supply availability, delays, risk factors, and performance metrics.

· Make timely, informed decisions to prevent production delays, mitigate supply risks, and support continuous fruit flow across internal and external channels.

· Perform other related duties and special projects assigned.

Requirements

· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Agriculture, Supply Chain, or related field preferred (high school diploma required).

· Minimum 2–4 years of relevant experience in supply planning, procurement, or produce operations.

· Proficient in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups), Power BI, and ERP systems (Famous preferred).

· Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to make operational decisions under time constraints.

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including cross-functional collaboration.

· Must be dependable, self-directed, and comfortable working outside normal hours as needed to support production continuity.

· Alignment with company’s mission and core values.

· Strong organizational skills to handle/prioritize multiple tasks.

· Team-oriented, service-focused attitude.


Physical Demands & Abilities

· Ability to sit for extended periods of time, working from a computer, talking on the phone.

· Onsite work schedule Monday – Friday with flexibility as needed.


Compensation & Benefits

· $70,000 - $85,000/year, based on experience
