Program Summary
KBR's Readiness and Sustainment (R&S) division is the Team Behind the Mission®. We deliver mission critical services to the U.S. military and coalition partners around the world. Our key capabilities include base operations; contingency and expeditionary support; next generation asset management; digitally focused logistics; prepositioned stock; and integrated supply chain management.
Job Summary
As a Compensation Lead you will manage the day-to-day and long-term strategic plans for compensation needs across the Readiness and Sustainment business unit. Your primary responsibility is the overall compensation management for both US and International programs. This role will play an integral part in the creation, implementation, and maintenance of KBR’s job architecture and compensation structures.
Roles and Responsibilities
Serve as the primary Compensation Lead for the Readiness and Sustainment business unit, offering strategic advice and insights on compensation related matters
Ability to act as a strategic partner to HRBPs, business leaders, Talent Acquisition, and proposal teams to address compensation needs and support organizational goals
Assist in designing, developing, implementing, and administering enterprise-wide compensation programs, including managing pay actions, updating annual pay ranges, and maintaining job classifications
Assist in the design and management of KBR’s job architecture and equity programs
Manage the annual salary and review processes, partnering closely with senior leaders
Take a proactive approach to evaluating pay practices for alignment with internal and external equity and pay trends
Demonstrate in depth understanding of regulatory environments, including FLSA determinations, SCA, Pay Transparency laws to maintain compliance of KBR’s compensation programs
Support audit requests from the Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA)
Perform other duties as assigned
Basic Qualifications
Requires a Bachelor’s Degree and at least 7 years of related experience. A High School Diploma or equivalent, and an additional 4 years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
Strong knowledge of compensation concepts and practices, including benchmarking, market analytics, and job pricing
Experience with US and Global survey data and Global compensation practices
Experience preparing annual survey data submissions and managing the compensation market surveys to leverage competitive data and identify market trends
Knowledge of labor markets in industries such as logistics, construction, technology, and program management
The ability to effectively present data to leadership in a compelling manner
The ability to handle multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively
Experience in process optimization and automation to improve efficiency and effectiveness
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Advanced Excel knowledge and skills
Preferred Qualifications
Certified Compensation Professional (CCP)
Advanced Global Compensation Experience
Advanced job architecture design and practices
Advanced knowledge of Workday and Market Pay highly preferred
