Description: 

The Enterprise Applications Programmer will join the Enterprise applications team and will primarily assist the Application Development Manager in producing and maintaining custom web sites and applications (front and back end). The Enterprise Applications Programmer will also provide support for other applications where programming expertise or database management and reporting is needed. This position will also support/administer other SaaS applications within our heterogeneous SaaS ecosystem as needed.  

The salary for this role is $85,000 - $95,000 per year.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Success in this position requires demonstrated capability with Python, PHP, JavaScript, API integrations, CSS, HTML, and SQL. 
  • Highly desirable skills include CMS management (Drupal), and data modeling. 
  • Experience or demonstrable capability using low/no code platforms, especially Knack Database is a major plus, as is familiarity with DAX for Power BI and MS Excel.  
  • Proficiency in project management, and competent communication skills with nontechnical end users is expected, and a willingness to learn to administer/manage new SaaS applications as required is a must.

 

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent work experience.
  • Advanced Python and JavaScript programming capability.
  • Web design: CSS, HTML, general web design capabilities (UX/UI).
  • Experience with low-code/no-code platforms, Knack preferred.
  • Familiarity with CMS administration (Drupal preferred).
  • Familiarity with DevOps best practices
  • Excellent communication skills focused on effectively gathering and conveying information to nontechnical application owners.

 

Preferred Background:

  • Exposure to project management (PM) tools desirable.
  • Knowledge of SQL desirable.
  • Web server configuration (Apache stack) desirable.
  • Programming expertise with REST API desirable.
  • Cloud infrastructure management experience (AWS, Azure, OCI) a plus.
