State Fire is a national leader in fire protection services, dedicated to keeping people and property safe across the country. We’re hiring a full-time Media & Marketing Assistant to join us on-site in Pocatello, ID, supporting our continued growth in this essential and exciting industry!
What You’ll Do:
As one of our assistant Media & Marketing Specialists, you’ll play a key role in promoting State Fire’s brand, services, and culture through engaging content and campaigns. Your responsibilities will include:
- Social Media Management:
Plan, create, and schedule posts—including reels—for multiple platforms to grow engagement and reach. Experience in social media paid and promoted advertising. - Content Creation:
Develop fresh and on-brand content across digital platforms, including graphics, videos, and written materials. - Photo & Video Editing:
Edit and produce high-quality media for use on web, social, and print channels. - Print & Digital Marketing:
Design flyers, ads, and other branded materials for both internal and external use. - Apparel & Swag Branding:
Assist with design and ordering of branded apparel and promotional items. - Event Marketing:
Support planning and execution of tradeshows, internal events, and community sponsorships. - Product & Services Marketing:
Create campaigns to promote new offerings and expand awareness across target markets. - Data Analysis:
Monitor campaign performance and engagement metrics; make recommendations based on data-driven insights. - Website Management assistant:
Help Maintain and update websites for State Fire, State Fire Idaho, and State Cylinder (WordPress; Divi experience a plus).
Requirements
What We’re Looking For:
- Creativity, curiosity, and a strong eye for visual design
- Working knowledge of social media platforms and their use in professional branding
- Familiarity with WordPress (Divi preferred), Canva, and Adobe Creative Suite
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Collaborative mindset and willingness to take initiative
- High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework in marketing, communications, or design is a plus
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
