The US Sales Manager will lead the US Key Account sales regional business to ensure that Insights is recognized as the learning and development partner of choice in the region. This role offers the rare opportunity to shape the trajectory of both individual careers and our rapidly expanding business, where your leadership will directly fuel our growth targets. You'll be working with a tight-knit group of ambitious professionals who are eager to learn, grow, and exceed expectations—but need the right leader to help them reach their full potential.
You be accountable for customer happiness and sales team engagement. Additionally, you will be responsible for:
- Actively partnering on sales opportunities with the US Sales team & Global Key Account and Partner Channel teams.
- Supporting the deployment of the Global Sales Strategy in the US
- Championing the success of your go to market sales channels that include Global Clients, Inside Sales and Indirect/Partner Sales
Job Description
- Work closely with the US Regional Director to build, communicate and execute a clear regional sales strategy in order to achieve agreed revenue and profit targets for the region
- Direct cohesive, motivated and high performing sales teams and be a learning and development partner to our clients
- Working alongside the Global Sales teams and the Product and Learning Communities teams to ensure the deployment of the US sales strategy through development of the US Sales teams
- Promote best practices in utilising sales automation
- Deploy the Sales matrix model in this territory, act as a champion and advocate to ensure the success of our sales channels and centres of excellence
- Role model the culture and climate ensuring that the teams have consistent and high standards of leadership as we continue to grow the business and ensure the regional teams are integrated and working towards the overall US sales targets
- Work closely with the global Marketing team to build brand equity and awareness throughout the US and create business development opportunities
- Drive and engage the sales teams to achieve agreed revenue and profit targets for the regional sales channel
- Drive front end improvements as part of the customer happiness/customer voice programme in partnership with operational colleagues
- Identify, develop and nurture sales talent and sales career paths
- Be accountable for the budgeting process for US sales and aligning this to the overall sales budget, global strategy and appropriate business pans with a focus
- Forge strong partnerships across the Insights network and take a proactive approach to sharing best practices

- Knowledge of the US L&D marketplace and experience of the L&D and or consulting related industries

- Provide a credible, confident, caring and engaging demeanour and build strong and deep relationships within the business
Qualifications
- Strong sales background and track record of delivering results and commercial judgement
- Management & leadership role model, global mindset, matrix management, collaboration and think like a customer
- Demonstrable experience and capability in both contributing to, developing and implementing strategy
- Strong operational management, analysis skills, influencing and negotiation skills
- Collaborating and partnering with stakeholders in other regions and functions, representing voice of customers and commercial judgement
- Self-aware and committed to personal development and development of others
- Supporting and guiding sales opportunities to a successful conclusion
- Demonstrating acute commercial and sales acumen through:
- Sales opportunity analysis
- Devising sales approaches and solutions
- Demonstrating business value
- You will be proficient at mobilising resources through efficient internal collaboration and conflict resolution
Additional Information
Locations: We employ in the following states: Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Indiana, Michigan, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Washington State. Whilst the role is remote we do have an office in Austin which you will have the opportunity to visit for team meetings etc..
Reward: You'll be rewarded with a basic annual salary estimated to be between $120- $150k + sales incentive plan
