Job Description

This role is a hybrid position from either the UK or US offices. 

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior TM1 and PowerBI Developer to join our dynamic and high-performing team. As a key member of our Business Intelligence and Analytics team, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and implementing TM1 and PowerBI solutions to support our organization's data-driven decision-making processes.

With a background in project work, you will be able to demonstrate the ability to meet tight deadlines. You will be comfortable in both running your own projects and working alongside other experienced developers on larger projects.

Responsibilities:

  1. TM1 Development:

    • Design, develop, and maintain IBM Planning Analytics (TM1) applications.
    • Collaborate with business analysts to understand requirements and translate them into TM1 solutions.
    • Optimise TM1 models for performance and efficiency.
  2. PowerBI Development:

    • Develop and implement PowerBI reports and dashboards that provide actionable insights.
    • Work closely with stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and ensure timely delivery of high-quality visualizations.
    • Integrate PowerBI solutions with other data sources and systems.
  3. Data Modelling and Architecture:

    • Design and implement data models that support both TM1 and PowerBI requirements.
    • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across TM1 and PowerBI platforms.
  4. Collaboration and Support:

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, finance, and business units, to understand their needs and provide effective solutions.
    • Provide technical support and training to end-users on TM1 and PowerBI functionalities.
  5. Best Practices and Continuous Improvement:

    • Stay abreast of industry best practices and emerging technologies in TM1 and PowerBI.
    • Recommend and implement improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of BI solutions.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a TM1 developer with in-depth knowledge of TM1 architecture and development.
  • Experience in PowerBI development, including data modelling, DAX, and Power Query.
  • Knowledge of financial planning and analysis processes.
  • Understanding of data warehousing principles and practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently and lead initiatives.
