About the Role:
Hims & Hers is seeking experienced and passionate Pharmacy Technician Trainer to join our Learning & Development team for both day shift and night shift positions. The Pharmacy Technician Trainer plays a critical role in ensuring the effective scheduling, coordination, and execution of training for all process paths in the pharmacy. This role collaborates closely with Operations, HR, Continuous Improvement, Safety, and Recruiting teams to maintain compliance and drive a strong learning culture. This role is based in New Albany, Ohio, or Gilbert, AZ and will report to the Learning Manager.
You Will:
• 18+ years of age, high school diploma, GED or equivalent
• Active registration as a Pharmacy Technician in the State of Ohio AND National Certification (CPhT)
• Effective knowledge of state and federal pharmacy laws, rules and regulations related to the practice of pharmacy
• Ability to work flexible shift times
• Facilitate courses or learning sessions with all process job roles and with Leadership as needed
• Conduct retraining sessions and remediation training as needed
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines
• Collaborate with operations to identify critical skill gaps and create training plans with the Learning Manager to address them
• Administrative tasks as needed: printing and organizing learning materials, tracking training sign-offs
• Maintain daily communication with Operations, HR, Recruiting and other teams
• Maintain visibility on the operations floor to retain process knowledge and see gaps in the training process
• Audit tenured associates to ensure competencies are being met continuously
• Engage associates to build and maintain safety as part of the culture
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Ability to cross-train and deliver training in additional areas of the business to support organizational needs and ensure comprehensive employee development
• Willingness to engage in path/process tasks and contribute to operational workflows when training responsibilities are fulfilled, ensuring seamless support across the business
You Have:
• Facilitation / presentation skills
• Proficiency in computer usage, email, MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, Outlook)
• Ability to work in a fast paced distribution environment
• Must be self-motivated and able to work in a team-oriented environment with an emphasis on total customer satisfaction
• Use and analyze data on a daily basis to improve the learning experience of new hires
• Work with subject matter experts to ensure accuracy and relevance of training content
• Detail oriented and accurate
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
• Ability to prioritize, manage and complete projects with tight deadline
• Onsite required
• Bilingual in English and one other language is preferred
• 2+ years of successful training experience and demonstrated proficiency in delivering and creating training
• Instructional design using TWI model, or similar
• Experience with e-Learning authoring tools and learning management systems (LMS)
• Understanding of fulfillment/distribution center/pharmacy processes and flow
• Well-developed observational and analytical skills
• Able to work flexible schedules/shifts as needed for 7 day operation
• Proven skills for planning daily/weekly tasks and adapting to competing demands
• Implement and enforce all OSHA and warehouse rules and regulations related to Powered Industrial Equipment (PIT)
• Instruct, examine and issue certification

Conditions of Employment:
This position will require working with Hazardous Drugs (HD) and would require that Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) be worn for the length of working with these drugs. These items would include gloves, respiratory protection, gown and other items as required.
This position requires medical approval to wear respiratory protection in the form of negative or positive pressure respirators, including N95, full face respirator, SCBA, or Powered Air Purifying Respirator (PAPR).
Physical exertion required. Including, but not limited to, walking up to 50% of the time, standing up to 100% of the time, squatting and bending up to 20% of the time and lifting up to 80% of the time for up to a twelve hour shift. Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
Due to the risk of reproductive capability in handling or compounding certain Hazardous Drugs (HD) associates must be willing to confirm that they understand the potential risks (teratogenicity, carcinogenicity and reproductive effects) of handling hazardous drugs.
