Staff Process Automation Engineer, Salesforce

Remote Location: Seattle, WA

Position Summary

We’re looking for a Staff Process Automation Engineer, Salesforce to lead how we scale and operationalize go-to-market systems across Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Support. As we grow, the ability to adapt and optimize our operations in real time is mission-critical. This role exists to close the gap between strategy and execution, owning Salesforce processes that power everything from lead flow to forecasting. You’ll be the connector who translates GTM strategy into smart, automated systems that help us move with clarity and speed.

You’ll lead the design, automation, and execution of GTM processes in Salesforce, with full accountability for the business logic layer and day-to-day configuration. You’ll direct external Salesforce development partners to ensure high-quality delivery, and work closely with RevOps to prioritize initiatives, identify system gaps, and implement solutions that improve accuracy, efficiency, and visibility. In this hybrid embedded role, you’ll be fully integrated into RevOps rhythms, contributing to pipeline reviews, forecasting processes, and strategic planning through a systems lens.

Reporting to the Director, Business Applications and IT and located in Seattle, this role offers a unique chance to partner directly with our CEO and SVP of GTM Operations. You’ll be a strategic collaborator, helping define and drive the roadmap—not just execute it.

At HackerOne, we embrace a Flexible Work approach, enabling our team members to work remotely while maintaining productivity and collaboration. We are seeking candidates located in Seattle, WA, and the surrounding metropolitan areas, to facilitate occasional in-person interactions as needed. While the position is primarily remote, there will be periodic in-person requirements to support team collaboration and foster stronger connections. This approach ensures flexibility while providing opportunities to build meaningful in-person relationships that strengthen our team and company culture.

What You Will Do

  • Lead the design and implementation of Salesforce-based business processes across lead flow, opportunity management, forecasting, renewals, and customer handoffs

  • Own Salesforce Flow automation and configuration across GTM systems, ensuring alignment with business strategy and day-to-day operational needs

  • Translate RevOps and GTM priorities into scalable, maintainable system solutions that drive speed, accuracy, and visibility

  • Lead the GTM systems roadmap with the Senior Salesforce Application Engineer, aligning on priorities, sequencing, and dependencies

  • Work directly with the CEO and SVP of GTM Operations to shape the roadmap.

  • Oversee delivery from external Salesforce development partners, ensuring alignment, velocity, and high-quality execution against business needs

  • Serve as a core systems partner to RevOps, embedded in pipeline reviews, forecasting, and revenue planning

  • Apply and uphold standards for automation, change management, and documentation within the GTM systems scope

  • Continuously identify opportunities to improve process efficiency and system usability through configuration, automation, or design changes

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience configuring Salesforce and building process automations in a high-growth, cross-functional environment

  • Strong knowledge of GTM systems and processes, including lead management, opportunity lifecycle, forecasting, and renewals

  • Proven ability to translate business requirements into scalable, maintainable Salesforce solutions

  • Proficiency in Salesforce Flow and Apex, with familiarity in full-stack development practices, GitLab, and Gearset to support automation and system integrations

  • Proven experience collaborating with senior executives, with the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and contribute to strategic decision-making.

  • Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture and system integrations; Salesforce Administrator Certification required

  • Experience building GTM reporting and dashboards in Salesforce

  • Familiarity with integrations across tools like Workday and marketing automation platforms

Preferred Qualifications

  • Salesforce Advanced Administrator, Platform App Builder, or Business Analyst certification

  • Background in RevOps, SalesOps, or GTM systems strategy with direct exposure to quote-to-cash or CPQ workflows
