Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Director, Corporate FP&A to lead company-wide financial planning, analysis, and strategy in support of our rapidly scaling organization. This individual will serve as a trusted partner to cross-functional leaders, drive company-wide financial processes, and deliver insights that enable strategic decision-making. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the corporate financial planning process, including annual budgeting, rolling forecasts, and long-term strategic planning. Own the global consolidated P&L and corporate planning calendar; communicate key deliverables and timelines across teams
- Lead a team of finance professionals to drive FP&A activities. This includes staff based in India
- Partner cross-functionally with Finance, Accounting, Investor Relations, and Corporate Development to deliver insightful financial narratives and performance analyses.
- Own stock-based compensation forecasting in partnership with Total Rewards and the Equity team.
- Identify and drive process improvements across forecasting and planning cycles. Standardize and scale processes to improve accuracy, consistency, and transparency
- Be the subject matter expert on customer and operational data, building models to interpret trends, design predictive drivers, and enhance forecast accuracy
- Deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting packages to executive leadership, the Board of Directors, and investors.
- Implement and manage financial planning systems and tools, driving automation and efficiency in reporting and forecasting
- Provide analytical and strategic support for ad hoc initiatives, including investment decisions, business case evaluations, and corporate strategy projects
Please note this is a hybrid role with onsite expectations of 3x/week (Tuesday-Thursday) from our San Mateo, CA Headquarters.
Qualifications
- 15+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, with 5+ years in a Corporate FP&A leadership role (SaaS experience strongly preferred)
- Deep knowledge of finance and accounting processes, reporting structures, and planning systems in a public company environment
- Experience with master data management and integrating financial data across teams
- Proficiency with financial tools and systems, ideally including NetSuite, Anaplan, or Adaptive Planning
- Excellent communication and presentation skills; ability to distill complex financial information into clear, actionable insights
- Proven track record of building and scaling processes, tools, and teams from the ground up
- High attention to detail, a strong sense of ownership, and a bias for action
- Growth mindset with a demonstrated ability to thrive in a dynamic, evolving environment
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or Economics; Master's degree in Finance or Economics preferred
Additional Information
This role is based in the San Francisco Bay Area, and the expected base salary range for this position is as shown below. The actual base pay is dependent upon a variety of job-related factors such as professional background, training, work experience, business needs, and market demand. Therefore, in some circumstances, the actual salary could fall outside of this expected range. This pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role is also eligible for a target bonus.
Compensation Package
The targeted annual base salary range for this position is $237,700 - $341,665 USD
