About the Role: Fragomen, an AMLaw 100 Firm and the leading global immigration services provider, is seeking an accomplished Senior Director of Operations to lead and evolve the operational framework of our global law firm. This role is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations across multiple international offices, driving efficiency, ensuring operational excellence, and aligning support functions with the firm’s strategic priorities. The ideal candidate will bring proven leadership in professional services environments, a global mindset, and a passion for delivering service at the highest standard.

How will you make a difference as a Senior Director of Commercial Operations at Fragomen?

  • Design and implement operational strategies that support firm-wide goals and long-term growth. 
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives to enhance productivity, quality, and service delivery across global offices.  
  • Lead and matrix-manage office operations across over 50 firm locations worldwide. 
  • Lead a small team of operations professionals, fostering a collaborative and accountable culture.
  • Collaborate with IT, HR, Finance, and Practice Group Leaders to ensure smooth and cost effective operation and initiatives.
  • Manage the day-to-day operations across multiple functions including procurement, office services, real estate and travel.
  • Work closely with the Global Head of Cost Optimization to establish and enforce firmwide policies & standards for procurement, travel and other support services.
  • Ensure consistency and excellence in service delivery across global locations, while respecting regional nuances and compliance requirements.
  • Develop and manage operational budgets in collaboration with Finance; monitor performance and deliver on cost-saving targets.

Leverage your valuable skills and experience to make an impact at Fragomen:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations, or related field required; MBA or equivalent advanced degree strongly preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in senior operational leadership roles within professional services environments.
  • Demonstrated success leading multi-office operations, preferably on a global scale.
  • Strong business acumen with an understanding of legal industry operations and service standards.
  • Proven track record of organizational transformation and change management.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Tech-savvy with experience using enterprise tools for travel, procurement, and project management
