We are seeking a talented and experienced Manager of Systems Engineering to join our team and lead our efforts within the State, Local Government, Education, and Department (SLED) vertical. In this role, you will be responsible for managing a team of systems engineers, driving the technical strategy for our SLED clients, and ensuring the successful implementation of complex technology solutions. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the SLED market, strong leadership skills, and a passion for driving innovation.
Responsibilities:
· Lead and mentor a team of systems engineers, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful execution of projects.
· Collaborate with sales, marketing, and product teams to develop and implement a technical strategy tailored to the unique needs of the SLED vertical.
· Serve as a technical advisor to clients, offering expertise and guidance on technology solutions that align with their objectives and requirements.
· Oversee the design, implementation, and optimization of complex systems and infrastructure solutions for SLED clients.
· Stay current on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to drive innovation and maintain a competitive edge.
· Foster a culture of continuous learning and development within the systems engineering team, promoting growth and professional advancement.
Qualifications:
· Minimum of 5 years of experience in systems engineering, with a focus on the SLED vertical.
· Proven experience managing a team of technical professionals, including hiring, training, and performance management.
· Deep understanding of SLED market dynamics, trends, and challenges.
· Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve goals.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients and internal stakeholders.
· Technical expertise in areas such as cloud computing, networking, security, and infrastructure design.
· Relevant certifications are a plus.
