Job Description
Scope of Position:
Develop, maintain, and measure Expeditors activity to satisfy the needs of specific accounts. Manage all aspects of Expeditors relationship with each account to achieve customer’s goals and expectations while continuing to build a strategic partnership and increase revenue.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
- When allowed - This position requires 80% of travel, work and drive in and out of Mexico (Baja California Norte, MX)
- Constantly seek new business and value add opportunities.
- Support customer growth objectives via Expeditors products and services.
- Create and present Quarterly Business Reviews.
- Establish service expectations and KPIs and consistently review performance for compliance and process improvements.
- Review and maintain procedures and processes that guide Operations in support of the customer’s global logistics needs, and help to establish new procedures as needed.
- Continuously develop knowledge of Supply Chain processes, financial objectives and general business acumen to benefit client and personal objectives.
- Develop and maintain Account Strategy in order to identify account objectives, Expeditors vision, KPIs, and measures for success while identifying resources needed to reach these objectives.
- Drive the RFI/RFQ process and rate management.
- Provide resolution assistance in regards to claims, disputes, credit and collections.
- Utilize, consult and inform Expeditors management and staff where appropriate to develop and achieve account goals.
- Conduct regular face to face meetings with the accounts to support the customer and Expeditors goals and objectives.
- Dedication to the success of Expeditors and the customer using ethical business practices, personal commitment, passion & sacrifice, and an obsession with the fundamental details of running the business.
- Travel when necessary to branch offices and customer locations to resolve issues, review procedures and maintain customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Ability to legally work in the United States
- Ability to converse with customers whose primary language is Spanish is recommended
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, however equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
- Ability to define, develop, and document business processes and procedures.
- Proficient in establishing relationships at all levels within accounts.
- Effective interpersonal skills- including proven abilities to listen, comprehend, and to communicate clearly and concisely both verbally and in writing.
- Demonstrated critical thinking, analytical, internal/external customer service, project management, and problem solving skills.
- Intermediate computer skills- email, internet, Excel, Word, Power Point.

Base Salary: $68,640
Eligible for bonus
