Job Description

We’re seeking a technically astute and motivated Principal Engineer to join our Urban Development team in Canberra. In this role, you'll take the lead on key projects, working closely with clients, managing project teams and mentoring junior staff. Your experience in client-facing roles and your ability to deliver successful outcomes across the full project lifecycle will be highly valued.

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned engineer with ambitions to step into a leadership position while continuing to develop and apply strong technical skills. You’ll work alongside passionate professionals, with opportunities to grow within a supportive and expanding national business.

Qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Civil Engineering

  • 8+ years’ experience in Urban Development

  • CPEng accreditation (or ability to obtain in the short term)

  • Proven experience in project delivery and client engagement

  • Strong technical capabilities in urban development engineering

  • Leadership or mentoring experience, with a collaborative mindset

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
