JOB PURPOSE:
Manage the accounts receivable process from new client set-up through payment application.
JOB SUMMARY:
This position manages Edupoint’s accounts receivable process from new client set-up through invoicing, collection, and payment application.
JOB DUTIES:
- Prepare customer invoices on a timely basis and in accordance with contract terms
- Accurately set-up new client sales orders and connect with appropriate client staff to facilitate payment
- Proactively research and resolve billing issues and questions
- Apply daily cash receipts
- Monitor aging of accounts receivable and work with clients to receive payment on delinquent accounts
- Prepare and file all sales, use and rental taxes
- Assist in monthly closings, including balance sheet reconciliations
- Prepare analysis of accounts, as required
- Perform filing, copying and other duties and projects as assigned
JOB REQUIREMENTS-KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:
*Knowledge:
- Strong Excel skills required
- NetSuite experience a plus
*Skills:
- Detail oriented
- Excellent communication skills
*Abilities:
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work well in a team environment
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business OR
- A minimum of five years of progressive general accounting experience.

TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Work may require sitting for long periods of time; also stooping, bending and stretching for files and supplies, occasionally lifting files, objects or paper weighing up to 30 pounds. Requires manual dexterity sufficient to operate a keyboard, telephone, copier and other office equipment as necessary. Hearing must be in the normal range for telephone and video conferencing contacts. Visual acuity necessary to work extended hours on computer screens. Ability to work in an environment with moderate noise and which can be fast paced and project intensive.
