Job Description

Job Description:

This role is based in our Aarhus office, where you’ll join our Commerce practice and become part of a collaborative, quality-driven development team. You will work on Commerce backend development, but your responsibilities will also touch on integrations and security aspects that are essential to delivering robust, modern solutions.

As a Junior Developer / Developer, you will be working alongside experienced developers, QA specialists, and project managers. You will participate in the implementation of scalable features and contribute to the delivery of high-quality code. With guidance and mentorship, you'll gain experience in best practices and modern development workflows such as test automation, CI/CD pipelines, microservices and infrastructure as code.

You’re someone who is curious, eager to learn, and passionate about building solid software. We’re looking for developers who want to grow technically and professionally by being exposed to a variety of technologies, and who enjoy working in a structured, team-oriented environment.

You will be encouraged to ask questions, pair program with others, and gradually take on more responsibilities and collaborating directly with clients.

Qualifications

  • 0–3 years of professional experience in backend software development including internships or student.

  • Enthusiastic about writing clean, maintainable code and eager to learn from more experienced developers.

  • Comfortable working in a collaborative environment, asking questions, and taking feedback constructively.

  • Interest in modern development practices such as CI/CD, automated testing, and infrastructure as code.

  • Strong problem-solving mindset and willingness to take ownership of assigned tasks.

  • Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.

Technical Experience and Interests

  • Solid understanding of object-oriented programming; experience with Java, Spring and TypeScript is a plus.

  • Basic understanding of cloud platforms (Azure or AWS) or a keen interest in cloud-native development.

  • Eagerness to explore and learn modern tools and languages such as GitHub actions, Gradle, Terraform and Docker.

  • Curious about commerce platforms and enterprise systems — prior knowledge of SAP Commerce Cloud or Shopify is a plus but not expected.

  • Motivated to grow technical skills through mentorship, hands-on experience, and collaboration with senior team members.

Benefits:

  • A nice pension scheme + health insurance

  • Weekly Friday bars (yup, your weekend buzz is on us!)

  • Breakfast and lunch at our office

  • Flexible work model with remote workday options

  • An unlimited amount of coffee, tea and supportive colleagues

  • Wine tasting, coffee club, game nights, grand parties, fun events

We have employees who've stayed with us for 5, 10, 15, and even 20 years! There's room for you to be yourself, including dressing however you like.
