A Brief Overview
We’re looking for a strategic, hands-on Director of Regional Business Operations Strategy to lead and implement high-impact initiatives across our regional operations. This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of strategy and execution—taking ideas, turning them into action plans, and delivering results on the ground.
You’ll be responsible for driving operational excellence, managing regional projects end-to-end, driving process improvements, and ensuring efficient resource allocation. Responsible for achieving operational goals, maintaining quality standards, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
What you will do
Designs and implements key operational strategies aligned with the company's overall objectives and goals, including identifying areas for improvement, establishing performance metrics, and setting targets.
Identify gaps, inefficiencies, or opportunities across regions and lead solutions from idea to rollout
Contributes to business objectives by analyzing existing operational processes and identifying opportunities for streamlining, standardization, and cost-reduction.
Develops methodology to monitor and assess operational performance, including identifying trends and implementing corrective actions when necessary.
Collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to drive operational excellence, including working closely with other departments to ensure operational alignment.
Communicates change initiatives within the organization, ensuring smooth transitions and effective adoption of new processes or initiatives
Defines programs promoting a culture of continuous improvement by fostering innovation, encouraging employee engagement, and implementing best practices.
Designs and executes crucial operational strategies that directly support and advance the company's overarching vision and strategic priorities. This involves a comprehensive approach to identifying key areas ripe for enhancement, establishing robust and relevant performance indicators, and setting ambitious yet achievable targets to drive continuous progress.

Excellent at turning strategy into actionable, measurable plans
Skilled at managing complexity across geographies, functions, teams, and people
Analytical and data-driven, with strong instincts for process improvement and performance management
A clear communicator with the ability to influence without direct authority
Adaptable, entrepreneurial, and comfortable in high-growth, fast-changing environments
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree
10 or more years of relevant work experience
5 or more years of operations experience with increasing functional knowledge and responsibilities
5 or more years of experience leading teams and projects as well as working cross-functionally with multiple teams
Demonstrated success using root cause analysis and forensic evaluation to enhance processes and drive business results
Occasional travel required for meetings
Preferred Qualifications:
Advanced degree such as MBA
Background in financial and budget analysis as well as healthcare industry
Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$100,000.00 - $231,540.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
