Service Center
CSCS CAEssential Job Duties
Develops and Executes Recruiting Plans:
- Communicates regularly with Changing Management Team to understand staffing levels and needs.
- Works directly with Military Transition Services representative to build/promote program(s) awareness.
- Coordinates, Educates, and Promotes Changing Lanes career Track offerings with Military Transition Counselors.
- Attends weekly Transition Briefings to build awareness around career track offerings and connect with Military Candidates.
- Attends weekly Table Day events to connect with Service Members to gain candidate interest.
- Performs military Candidate screening, best vetting practices to include issuing mechanical assessments.
- Uses Mechanical assessment findings to determine if candidates meets career tracks requirements.
- Performs and coordinates candidate Interviews with program Instructors and line of business Regional Vice President management team Via Teams Meetings.
- Provides Candidates with military Command permission packets, or approval forms to attend the selected career track.
- Monitors Command permission packets, tracks the number of issued packets and reports on these numbers weekly.
- Provides enrolled service members and program Instructors assistance with, Letters of intent to hire, Issues of concerns, Attendance reporting, and Final placement selection.
- Manages the overall ARMY PaYs program.
- Maintains and establishes relations with Reserve and National Guard Units in Caliber Markets, to provide open positions for hire.
- Reviews resumes/applications and pre-screens candidates, referring qualified candidates on to hiring managers.
- Coordinates with Talent Acquisition Business Partners to share qualified candidates seeking immediate jobs.
- Coordinates Changing Lanes placements with the Changing Lanes Talent Acquisition Administrator, tracks and reports on progress.
- Tracks progress of candidates in process & handles administrative details.
- Manages the offer process to ensure consistency, compliance with Caliber’s policy & practice, and a high rate of acceptance.
- Collaborate with Regional HR Managers on project initiatives
General:
- May conduct new hire orientation group meetings for new hires.
- Perform special projects related to recruiting as assigned.
- Performs other duties as required.
- Requires travel and some overnight stay.
Skills/Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources or related field; or equivalent combination of education, experience and training that provides the required knowledge and skills
- Minimum 4 to 7 years of recruiting experience
- Familiar with a variety of the HR concepts, practices, and procedures
- Effective written and oral communication/interaction skills
- Must have Military experience
- Must have strong organizational skills
- Proficient in MS Office
