The Association of Former Students engages and inspires the Aggie Network for Texas A&M University in perpetuating the Aggie Spirit. Through our Annual Fund, as well as other revenue streams, we provide scholarships, endowments, emergency student loans, and awards for faculty. Our newest colleague will join our Development team in advancing our mission through dedicated support related to the cultivation and stewardship of major-gift donors to the Aggie Park project.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE ROLE
- Support both Vice President of Development and Administrative Assistant with documentation of administrative tasks focused on Aggie Park.
- Work with a sense of urgency and attention to detail.

ROUTINE DUTIES
- Support the Development Team in matters related to prospecting, cultivation, and stewardship of major-gift donors for the Aggie Park project.
- Organize and maintain proper documentation for Aggie Park donor recognition.
- Assist with written correspondence to donors related to recognition items.
- Coordinate printing of marketing, stewardship, and donor solicitation materials for Aggie Park.
- Prepares documentation for Board of Regents approval.
- Support the planning and execution of invitation lists, event registration, and additional items as needed.
- Write, proof, and edit proposals, correspondence, presentations, reports, meeting agendas, and follow up notes as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
Minimum
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated prioritization and time management skills.
Preferred
- Previous non-profit volunteer or non-profit intern experience.
- Availability to work during the summer.
PHYSICAL CAPACITY REQUIREMENTS Ability to sit or stand for long periods on occasion and carry objects up to 10 pounds. Ability to work at a desk with frequent use of keyboard and monitor. EDUCATION
Required: Currently enrolled as a university student at Texas A&M University in College Station.
EMPLOYEES OF THE ASSOCIATION OF FORMER STUDENTS
- Participate in various Association-wide activities such as engagement and fundraising goals, internal event teams, task committees, attending gameday receptions, Distinguished Alumni Gala and other external events as required.
- Serve as an ambassador by meeting our Team Expectations, fostering relationships with students and other constituents of Texas A&M.
