Alturas Analytics is looking for an organized, helpful and friendly Administrative Assistant to join our team. The Administrative Assistant will keep our office running smoothly while juggling multiple tasks. This position answers phones, greets visitors, manages inventory, and supports day-to-day office tasks. If you enjoy supporting a team and staying on top of details, we’d love to hear from you! 


Salary: Starting at $19.13/ hour DOE


 Hours: 25 to 35 hours per week (flexible between the hours of 8am - 5pm)

This position is on-site in Moscow, Idaho.

Position Summary:

 The Administrative Assistant will perform administrative and office support duties as directed by the Office Manager. This position is not involved in any GLP-related activities within Alturas Analytics, Inc. Duties include fielding telephone calls, checking in and directing visitors, word processing, creating spreadsheets and presentations, filing, sorting, and distributing mail and shipments. Extensive software skills are required, as well as strong communication skills and the ability to work independently. 


Essential Duties and Tasks:

  • Answers and fields incoming phone calls.
  • Provides customer service, checking in visitors and notifying appropriate staff of arrival.
  • Maintains front desk and kitchen cleanliness and organization.
  • Maintains inventory of office, breakroom, and marketing supplies.
  • Replenishes breakroom supplies throughout day.
  • Orders meals for office lunches and client audits.
  • Assists with business-related travel booking processes.
  • Records product information in tracking software.
  • Prepares conference rooms for meetings.
  • Sorts and distributes mail and shipments.
  • Assists in event planning, coordination, and execution.
  • Prepares company videos for lunches and other events.
  • Arranges office equipment and furniture, and ensures all are working properly
  • Performs various administrative tasks, including word processing, copying, filing, etc.

Additional Duties and Tasks:

  • Performs back up Office Manager duties in the absence of the Office Manager
  • Performs other duties as needed or assigned

Requirements

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • High school diploma
  • Working knowledge of complete MS Office suite

Nice-to-have

  • Experience in an office environment is preferred
  • Experience managing supplies, organizing common areas, or supporting meetings 

Skills and Abilities Requirements:

  • Skills in verbal and written communication
  • Skills in use and maintenance of office equipment
  • Ability to interact with staff, clients and visitors in a professional, cordial manner
