  • Oversee compliance, tax strategy, legal coordination, and audit preparation

  • Partner closely with CEO, Head of Product, and Head of Engineering to evaluate growth investments and pricing models

  • Serve as primary liaison to investors, board members, and external financial institutions

  • Hire and manage a lean finance team as the company scales

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of progressive finance experience, including 3+ years in a CFO or VP of Finance role at a startup or high-growth tech company

  • Proven success managing capital raises and investor relations at the pre-seed to Series A stage

  • Deep understanding of SaaS business models, financial modeling, and cap table management

  • Strong command of accounting (GAAP), compliance, and risk mitigation strategies

  • Experience working closely with product and engineering teams in data-heavy or AI-driven environments preferred

  • CPA, CFA, or MBA is a plus but not required

  • Based in or willing to relocate to Austin, TX
