Your Role 

As our first Front-End Engineer on the newly formed Business Platform team, you will help shape the user experience for Ailevate’s internal platform that manages customer accounts, licensing, and production environments. This platform is essential to enabling our GTM and Customer Success teams to operate independently, without requiring day-to-day support from engineering. 

In this role, you’ll design and implement modern, high-performance interfaces using React Query, TypeScript, MobX, Tanstack Router, and Vite, and build interactive data visualizations. Your work will transform complex datasets — including Salesforce, licensing systems, and infrastructure services — into intuitive, actionable UI components that bring operational clarity to our single-tenant environment model. 

You’ll collaborate with the Product Design team, backend engineers, and product leaders to create responsive, accessible, and highly usable interfaces that streamline workflows and reduce manual overhead. You'll also work on, and within our Design System to create reusable design components that increase development delivery and efficiency. This is a hands-on, impact-driven role that directly improves how Ailevate delivers, maintains, and supports its AI-powered solutions across customers. The role has the opportunity to evolve into a lead developer role within the Business Platform team.

By enabling automation, insight, and control through thoughtful front-end design, you’ll play a key role in optimizing customer operations and proactively managing risk at scale.

Your Responsibilities 

• Build performant, reusable UI components using React, TypeScript, and Vite 

• Power dynamic workflows with React Query, MobX, and Tanstack Router 

• Translate complex systems into intuitive interfaces that make ops self-service 

• Work closely with Product Design to define patterns, evolve our Design System, and ensure usability across teams 

• Own integration with backend systems via GraphQL 

• Uphold standards for accessibility, performance, and cross-browser support 

• Drive architectural decisions, code quality, and best practices from the start 

• Ship fast, learn from real users, and iterate with purpose 

Required Skills & Experience 

• 5+ years of experience building production-grade front ends 

• Deep expertise in React and TypeScript, with fluency in SPA patterns 

• Strong command of modern data/state tools: React Query, MobX, Tanstack Router 

• Experience working with GraphQL APIs and real-world schemas 

• Comfortable building from scratch in a fast-moving environment 

• Confident in accessibility (WCAG), performance tuning, and testing 

• Collaborative mindset—you’ll work closely with Product, Design, and Backend 

• Strong ownership mentality—you see problems and move to solve them 

Nice-to-Have 

• Experience building enterprise dashboards or workflow-driven platforms. 

• Familiarity with design systems, Figma, and component documentation workflows. 

• Exposure to internal developer tooling or component libraries. 

• Background in regulated or high-impact domains (e.g., healthcare, finance) is a plus.

• Working knowledge of real-time data pipelines or AI-assisted interfaces.
