Imagine being at the center of Adobe's B2B, where brilliant minds collaborate to solve the most complex challenges facing the world's leading companies. We are the B2B Strategic Customer Team at Adobe B2B Journey Management.
This isn't just engineering, we translate complex customer conversations into elegant product features, crafting solutions that scale to enterprise demands, and delivering systems that our customers' businesses depend on daily. From Data Streams that share millions of lead-related events in real-time, to Data Ingestion Streams ingesting high-volumes in low-latency with intelligent retry mechanisms. We own Customer Dashboards surfacing data to visually share actionable insights, and maintain Notification Systems for performance related events.
We do it all to directly drive our customer success when using our tools.
THE TECHNICAL LEADER WE'RE SEEKING
We need a technical leader who crafts elegant solutions to complex distributed processing challenges AKA Staff Engineer with 12+ years of experience building and scaling enterprise-grade distributed systems, driven by an unwavering dedication to engineering excellence and innovation.
Technical expertise in Java or Scala for building secure, scalable cloud services; RESTful and Streaming APIs that handle millions of requests; proficiency in Apache Spark, Hadoop, Kafka, and Airflow for data orchestration; experience with APM tools like Splunk and New Relic.
Comfortable writing complex SQL queries for MySQL, NoSQL, and Snowflake, implementing infrastructure automation with Kubernetes, and exposure to JavaScript/TypeScript, React, and Next.js. Experience with Enterprise Java frameworks (Spring/Boot) and AWS or Azure services will be great as well.
As a team multiplier, elevate our expertise through mentorship, technical leadership, and culture of learning. Crafting the engineering culture, while establishing standard processes, knowledge transfer and customer leadership. Seamless coordination across diverse teams - design, security, platform, and product to build customer compelling products.

This role is only available in San Jose and is customer facing.
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $153,600 -- $286,600 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).
In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
