Position Summary:
We are seeking a results-driven Sales Engineer with a Mechanical Engineering background to join our leadership track. This role is ideal for a technically skilled individual with an entrepreneurial mindset who wants to build lasting client relationships, lead operations, and eventually become an owner of the business.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Engineering Duties:
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships with contractors, architects, engineers, and building owners.
- Collaborate with internal teams to design customized HVAC solutions that meet performance and budget criteria.
- Prepare and deliver detailed technical proposals and estimates.
- Conduct site visits, analyze system needs, and provide consultative recommendations.
- Serve as a technical expert and advisor throughout the project lifecycle.
Business & Operational Leadership:
- Oversee daily operations in sales, estimating, service, and installation.
- Lead and mentor technical and sales staff; support team development through coaching and training.
- Contribute to strategic decision-making including business development, pricing strategies, and market positioning.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure profitability, efficiency, and quality of service.
- Manage vendor relationships, material procurement, and subcontractor coordination.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and building codes.
Financial & Ownership Track Responsibilities:
- Participate in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
- Identify growth opportunities and pursue new market segments and service offerings.
- Assist with succession planning and business continuity strategy.
- Learn and contribute to long-term equity strategies with the clear intent of transitioning to a percentage of ownership in the company.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (required).
- 10+ years of experience in HVAC systems design, sales, or project management.
- Strong understanding of HVAC technologies, building systems, and commercial applications.
- Proven leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Business acumen and a proactive, ownership-driven mindset.
