Regional Director, Operations

Workbox Company No location specified Full-time

Job Description

We go beyond coworking—our ecosystem accelerates ambition, cultivates connections, and helps businesses thrive. As Regional Director, Operations, you’ll serve as a player-coach: personally running our Dallas location while leading high-performing teams in other markets nationally. You’ll own every aspect of the member and space experience across your portfolio — building community, driving revenue, and ensuring flawless operations.

Your Role & Key Responsibilities

Multi-Site Leadership & Strategy

● Lead the overall vision, strategy, and P&L for multiple locations, aligning each market with company goals.

● Function as on-site Manager in Dallas (≈ 80 % of your time) while coaching and mentoring Community Managers in three other communities.

● Establish KPIs, track performance, and deliver clear, data-driven reporting to senior leadership.

● Hire, onboard, and develop location teams; cultivate a culture of hospitality, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Member Experience & Community Engagement

● Be the face of Workbox in your region and be an accessible leader for your buildings — ensuring every interaction is warm, personalized, and professional.

● Build meaningful relationships with members, understand their businesses, and proactively connect them to resources, mentors, and each other.

● Design and oversee a unified calendar of events, workshops, and networking programs that add value and foster cross-market collaboration.

● Champion our culture by celebrating wins, sharing stories, and embedding community traditions in each city.

Operations & Facility Excellence

● Oversee day-to-day operations—front-desk procedures, move-ins/outs, space tours, visitor management, mail services, inventory, and vendor coordination.

● Guarantee consistent brand standards, cleanliness, and facility upkeep across all properties; swiftly escalate maintenance issues and manage contractors.

● Own technology platforms (CRMs, access control, Wi-Fi, A/V) and troubleshoot as needed to keep members productive.

● Implement scalable processes that reduce costs, improve member satisfaction, and support rapid expansion.

Growth, Sales & Business Impact

● Partner with Sales & Marketing on pipeline generation, tours, and conversion tactics; provide local insights to refine positioning and campaigns.

● Identify upsell, renewal, and expansion opportunities; craft retention strategies that increase LTV and occupancy.

● Utilize member feedback and market data to pilot new services—then roll out wins across all sites.

● Manage budgets, forecast operating expenses, and report on financial performance for each location.

About You

● 5–7+ years of experience in community management, hospitality, coworking, or multi-site operations. Proven history leading teams and P&L across multiple locations.

● Magnetic relationship-builder with exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.

● Highly organized, tech-savvy, and comfortable juggling strategic initiatives with hands-on tasks (yes, you’ll jump in to restock coffee or troubleshoot A/V when needed). Enthusiastic about entrepreneurship, small-business growth, and inclusive community-building.

  • Health care: including vision, dental and life insurance
  • FSA, HSA, and Commuter Benefits
  • Retirement Plan (401K)
  • Unlimited Paid Time Off
  • Training & Development
