This role is based in Devon, UK, with a hybrid work setup of 3 days per week on-site and 2 days remote.

As our Digital Marketing Manager, you’ll bring your creativity, strategic mindset, and passion for marketing to the forefront. You’ll lead and optimise our digital marketing efforts, ensuring we continue to grow and maintain our position as a trusted supplement distributor.  The Digital Marketing Manager will oversee the digital marketing strategy, including brand awareness, customer engagement, and conversion, by working with a network of external resources, agencies and partners. This person will manage the planning, execution, and optimisation of digital marketing strategies focused on lead generation, driving business growth by developing and executing strategies to attract, engage, and convert potential customers into qualified leads. The role requires a strong understanding of digital marketing channels, data analysis, and customer acquisition techniques, as well as experience in managing and coordinating the work of external resources/agencies and drive revenue growth. 

Key Responsibilities 

1. Lead Generation Strategy: 

  • Develop and implement comprehensive lead generation campaigns across various digital platforms (e.g., SEO, PPC, social media, email marketing) by directing and coordinating external resources/agencies’ efforts. 
  • Oversee external resources/agencies in optimising landing pages and website structure for higher conversion rates. 
  • Utilise tools like marketing automation and CRM platforms (preferred experience with Klaviyo and HubSpot) and ensure external resources/agencies follow best practices in lead capture and management. 

2. Campaign Management: 

  • Manage multiple digital channels (SEO, PPC, social media, email) by assigning and supervising external resources/agencies to increase brand visibility and customer loyalty. 
  • Direct external resources/agencies in creating targeted campaigns to attract high-quality leads using paid ads (Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads), organic strategies (SEO), and content marketing. 
  • Continuously measure campaign performance, working with external resources/agencies to adjust tactics and improve ROI. 

3. Collaboration: 

  • Work closely with sales teams to ensure seamless handover of leads and alignment of marketing efforts with business goals. 
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams and external resources/agencies for integrated campaigns across multiple channels. 

4. Analytics & Reporting: 

  • Devise and report on company Key Performance Indicators and relay these to external resources/external resources/agencies, aligning these KPIs to wider business objectives 
  • Analyse data from lead generation campaigns managed by external resources/agencies to identify trends, insights, and areas for improvement. 
  • Track metrics such as cost-per-lead (CPL) and customer acquisition cost (CAC) with input from external resources/agencies to optimise spending. 

5. Content Marketing: 

  • Oversee external resources/agencies in developing engaging content such as blog posts, case studies, webinars, and white papers to drive traffic and generate leads. 
  • Ensure external resources/agencies leverage SEO strategies to enhance organic visibility. 
  • Providing good quality briefs for the Graphic Design team to execute  

6. Budget Management: 

  • Oversee the digital marketing budget, allocating resources to external resources/agencies and prioritising spending on high-performing channels for maximum ROI. 

What We’re Looking For 

  • 7+ years of experience in B2B or B2C digital marketing (experience in both is preferred) with a focus on lead generation. 
  • Proven success in managing online lead generation campaigns using SEO, PPC, email marketing, social media, and content marketing, including experience directing the work of external resources/agencies and external partners. 
  • Experience in wellness industry, ideally in the VMS space, preferred but a keen interest in lieu of direct experience. 
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to interpret data and metrics to refine strategies. 
  • Technical Proficiency: Expertise in CRM systems, marketing automation tools (preferably HubSpot), SEO platforms, and analytics software. 
  • Creativity: Innovative thinking for designing compelling campaigns. 
  • Project Management: Strong organisational skills for managing multiple campaigns and external resources/agencies simultaneously. 
  • Collaboration: Effective collaboration with creative teams, content creators, product marketing leaders, and external resources/agencies to execute marketing plans. 
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for crafting persuasive messages and providing clear direction to external resources/agencies. 
  • Strategy:  Demonstratable experience with devising and implementing marketing and content strategies.

The annual base salary range for this position is £ 50,000-£ 60,000 GBP/year. The actual annual base salary offered may be adjusted based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to: location, education, skills, training, and experience.
