Description: 

As a Manufacturing Compliance Co-op, you will support the Manufacturing team in ensuring the product and process comply with regulatory regulations and industry standards. The co-op gains exposure to important functions of the development and manufacturing of pharmaceuticals, the oligonucleotide manufacturing processes, quality control, and quality systems. Also, gains experience working for a company that is advancing a pipeline of first- or best-in-class therapeutics with life-changing potential for certain diseases.

Experience: 

• Working towards a bachelor’s degree in chemistry or a related discipline (i.e. biochemistry, chemical engineering, biology)
• At least two years of an undergraduate education completed within a related discipline.
• Intern must have successfully completed chemistry courses.
• Must possess excellent oral and written skills, as well as superior organizational skills.

Responsibilities:     

• Review and revise documentation such as batch records, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), logbooks, etc.
• Administrative tasks such as scanning, uploading, and organizing documents.
• Assists in procurement of materials.
• Gather and enter data from analytical tests and/or batch records
• Analyzing manufacturing process to determine potential improvement projects
• Assist in writing up deviations and investigations
