Accounting Advisory and Entity Statutory Accounts Senior Manager

Role Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Accounting Advisory Senior Manager to join our fast growing team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in technical IFRS and UK GAAP matters including the quality assurance of statutory accounts preparation and advice in relation to complex statutory accounts areas while leveraging technology and AI to optimize these processes.  We are focussed on providing advice to CEOs and CFOs and that provides an opportunity for stand out advisers to make a real difference for clients.  This is an exciting opportunity for someone with market energy and drive to focus on their strengths in a lean and agile organisation.

Responsibilites

• Lead and grow long term relationships with clients and provide high quality technical accounting advice under IFRS and UK GAAP to businesses.

• Provide quality assurance over the preparation of entity statutory financial statements (including ETB preparation, GAAP to stat etc), ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and advice in relation to complex statutory accounting areas and disclosures.

• Assistance in designing and implementing the statutory financial statements preparation practice and pushing for continuous improvement and productisation via technology and AI.

• Develop and implement strategies to optimise statutory accounts compliance processes using technology and AI.

• Stay up-to-date with changes in accounting standards and regulations, and ensure the company's services are aligned with these changes.

• Build relationships with internal stakeholders across all advisory areas in order to identify and grow market opportunities.

• Innovatively use technology to engage with clients and deliver advice and working with technology experts to design and deliver client projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or other. A professional certification (e.g. ACA, ACCA) is preferred.

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in statutory accounts preparation, with a focus on IFRS, FRS 101 and FRS 102. Any international statutory accounting or IFRS conversion experience is valued.

• Proven track record of managing and leading statutory accounts compliance processes.

• Strong knowledge of IFRS, FRS 101 and FRS 102 accounting standards and regulations.

• Experience with technology and AI in statutory accounts compliance processes.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

• Strong leadership and team management abilities.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
