THE ROLE
We’re hiring a Senior Account Executive to join Unit’s Go-To-Market team at a critical inflection point. This is a hands-on, high-impact role for someone who thrives in ambiguity, is excited to build the systems that drive revenue from the ground up, and wants to help shape the future of embedded finance. You’ll be joining a small but mighty sales team and will play a foundational role in scaling our go-to-market engine. This role offers a unique opportunity to grow into a leadership path or build deep expertise in complex consultative sales.
We are backed by top-tier investors (including Accel and Better Tomorrow Ventures) and over 40+ industry-leading fintech angels. For the right candidate, this is a rare opportunity to build an industry-defining company from the ground up.
This is a full-time role based in our New York office (Tribeca), with 4 days/week in person.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Own the full sales cycle from first touch through close, including sourcing, discovery, solution design, commercial negotiation, and hand-off to implementation.
Be a thought partner to founders, CEOs, and product leaders at vertical SaaS and fintech companies—helping them reimagine what they can build with embedded finance.
Shape and evolve our sales process, tooling, and narrative as a key input to broader go-to-market strategy.
Collaborate closely with Product and Marketing to refine demand generation strategies.
Provide structured feedback to Product and Engineering to inform roadmap prioritization based on conversations with customers.
Represent Unit externally at industry events, prospect briefings, and partner workshops.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
6–8 years of experience in a consultative B2B sales, founder, or strategic advisory role (e.g. investment banking, private equity, consulting, or GTM at an early-stage startup).
Proven ability to work cross-functionally, influence without authority, and operate with ownership in ambiguous situations.
Excellent storytelling and communication skills—you can simplify technical ideas and tailor them to diverse stakeholders.
Deep curiosity about fintech and excitement about how infrastructure businesses can reshape industries.
