Responsibilities

  • Develop and support CygNet SCADA System and services.
  • Configure and set up remote devices to communicate with SCADA system.
  • Install and configure CygNet sites and configure client connectivity.
  • Understand requirements and develop scripts to satisfy requirements for CygNet SCADA system.
  • Maintain positive working relationship by communicating in a manner so that you get along with co-workers and management.
  • Communicate effectively and proactively to project team any concerns, problems or technical discussions that impact project.
  • Know and understand scope of work, design criteria and project standards.


Requirements

  • Four-year technical degree in engineering from school of engineering and technology or technical institute or 5 years of relevant work experience.
  • 3 or more years of experience with CygNet SCADA Platform.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, MS Word, MS Outlook).
  • Candidate should be able to design, implement, and test with CygNet SCADA
  • Experience with implementing and supporting upstream SCADA systems.
  • Experience and familiarity with CygNet for Production framework, data-model, and screens.
  • Experience with creating DTF’s within CygNet for multiple device types
  • Experience with developing template screens with data driven by Facility attributes and meta-data.
  • Ability to troubleshoot communications issues within CygNet.
  • Experience with supporting CygNet for the day to day operational changes from coworkers.
  • Experience with implementing and supporting CygNet FMS.
  • Experience with using the suite of CygNet utilities.
  • Strong understanding of control theory as applied to process control systems.
  • General understanding of the following: all engineering disciplines, industrial control and I/O hardware, and networking and communication infrastructure.
  • Experience planning and executing factory and software acceptance testing.
  • Experience with CygNet API scripting, .NET development and object-oriented programming.
  • Must be a detail-oriented, results-driven individual with a commitment to quality, accuracy and the ability to organize and prioritize workloads to meet deadlines.
  • Must possess strong interpersonal and excellent communication (written and oral) skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, technical, and functional skills with the ability to multi-task and be willing to learn.
  • Must be able to work collaboratively and cooperatively, take direction, work well in a team environment, and interact with all levels of management, engineering, systems, operations and field personnel.
  • Strong leadership experience, technical go to person.
  • Ability to multitask and demonstrate flexibility in managing multiple projects.
  • Experience with Allen Bradley PLCs is a plus.
