Salary:
$7,651.00 - $10,833.33 per month commensurate with experience.
Job Description Summary:
This position is located in College Station, TX and is not eligible for remote work arrangement. The Senior Internal Auditor II, under little or no supervision, performs advanced, specialized auditing work in multiple disciplines in accordance with standards and procedures. Primarily responsible for performing detailed audit procedures. Assists audit manager with project management, staff development, and administrative tasks, as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Under little or no supervision, performs professional auditing work in accordance with professional standards and procedures.
- Assists audit manager by managing projects, reviewing working papers, supervising team members, and monitoring project milestones, budgets, and deadlines.
- Assists audit manager by completing administrative tasks such as client status updates, weekly status reports, and project and follow up tracking spreadsheets as needed.
- Assists audit manager in analyzing internal and external information to assess risk factors and identify high risk areas.
- Assists in developing audit programs, researching criteria, collecting and analyzing information for potential areas of risk, and gathering evidence.
- Develops comprehensive written audit findings and recommendations.
- Drafts and reviews audit reports.
- Communicates regularly with team members and management to share information.
- Conducts team and project meetings.
- Assists in the development of other team members providing feedback regarding performance, and identifying and providing appropriate training, coaching, and support.
- Develops and maintains strong client relationships.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience:
- Undergraduate or graduate degree in a business-related field or other field with related professional experience.
- Five years of progressively responsible experience in auditing, accounting, information systems auditing, investigations, compliance, consulting, or other applicable experience.
Registrations, Certifications, and Licenses:
- CPA and/or CIA and/or CISA.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Strong verbal and written communication, interpersonal, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Computer skills.
- Minimal out of town travel.
- Ability to multi-task and work cooperatively with others.
