Description
Boltline is a cloud-based platform built for complex hardware engineering and manufacturing. Designed by rocket scientists, it helps teams move fast with real-time inventory tracking, parts and process traceability, automated workflows, and seamless collaboration. Purpose-built for dynamic environments, Boltline supports everything from prototyping to production while staying ITAR compliant and fully integrated.
As a Customer Solutions Engineer, you’ll play a pivotal role in helping our customers integrate, adopt, and succeed with our software build for Hardware Engineers. You’ll be their technical advisor, enablement partner, and advocate, ensuring they realize maximum value from the product and supporting them through onboarding, integration, and scaling.
Responsibilities
- Customer Enablement: Guide customers through onboarding and solution deployment, aligning technical implementation with their
business goals - Product Adoption & Value Realization: Drive solution usage across engineering and manufacturing teams, demonstrating measurable
business value - Technical Expertise: Become a product and domain expert, particularly across Prototyping, Production & Maintenance systems. Act as a trusted advisor on manufacturing data flow and engineering workflows
- Customer Partnership: Maintain strong relationships with customer stakeholders, ensuring satisfaction, retention, and reference-ability
- Feedback & Advocacy: Capture customer feedback and collaborate with internal product and engineering teams to inform roadmap priorities
- Risk Management: Proactively identify and address issues before they impact customer experience
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal development and product teams—sometimes across time zones—to resolve issues and deliver value
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of experience in a B2B SaaS or technical customer-facing role
- Familiarity with engineering or manufacturing organizations, ideally in aerospace, defense, or energy
- Experience implementing or supporting complex systems such as MES, ERP, or PLM
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, comfortable working with both technical and non-technical teams
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities with a consultative approach
- Ability and willingness to travel up to 50%

Compensation
Base Salary Target: $95,100 - $143,000
This role is also eligible for additional variable compensation for attainment of performance goals.

To conform to U.S. Government space technology export regulations, including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), you must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
